We have had an absolutely amazing stretch of beautiful fall weather. It's hard to imagine that one year ago we were "blessed" to have two inches of snow on the ground. We only seem to have this summer/fall season once every couple years and it is by far our favorite time of year. There's nothing quite like an Indian Summer in Minnesota. When the time comes, we take advantage of every minute of daylight...
It is a father's great duty to teach his daughter how to correctly jump into a pile of leaves. After church, I raked up a nice little pile for Sophia and I to practice with. Sophia is a natural little tumbler and within minutes she was flying through the air and rolling through the leaves.

I think I'll wait a few years before teaching Sophia the advanced techniques of my youth (ex: leaping out of a tree into the pile of leaves)...
