Sophia,
Just in case there was any doubt, I want you to know that your Papi is an uber geek who loves you very much. Who else would invest so much time configuring and tweaking your blog? Although most FANA parents get Colombian soccer jerseys for their kids, you may be the first one to have some l33t gear from thinkgeek.
I'll do my best to teach you the secrets of binary and the magic of compilers over our years together. It won't be long before you have your own little linux box running and I will put you to bed at night to fairy tales about the Evil Bill Gates and how he was overthrown by a magical penguin named Tux.
I think that Kipp said it best, "Yes, I love technology, but not as much as you, you see."

YES! Every child should be taught l33t! Make sure your daughter also knows that there are 10 types of people....those who understand binary and those who don't!

P.S. Joshua says Ninjas are way cooler than Pirates.
Congratulations on your beautiful daughter! We have three children from FANA...ages 10,8 and 5. We've been following along with your adventures. Someday when you dear Sophia rolls her eyes at you over all your geek-speak, you'll have to use our line..."It's chic to be geek, baby!"
My husband said to let you know, however, that real geeks speak in hex not binary. (Sadly, I understand what he is saying.)
Hope the rest of your Colombian adventure is more than you could have ever dreamed!
