Dearest Claire Ella,
We have watched you grow quickly from a tiny newborn
to a busy little girl
On August 12th you celebrated your first birthday! This was actually your third of what will end up being four celebrations. With a family vacation at the end of July, and you and Sophia both having August birthdays, we're pretty sure you think your birthDAY is really a birthMONTH. You're probably starting to think we know sing "Happy Birthday" at the beginning of every meal. To be honest, we've been celebrating you and the joy you bring our family all year long. We can't imagine we'll ever tire of your sweet little growly voice, dimply grin, or hiccup inducing laugh!
We love you Claire, even more than you love your cake (and birthday pancakes)!
